Prayer Initiative
The goal of the prayer initiative is to network 100 churches and 1,000 worshipping intercessors in our region through prayer.

To enhance this goal, Charlotte Awake will do the following:

  • Intensify our prayer mandate by collaborating with other organizations (i.e., Zadok House of Prayer, Second Friday’s for Praying Women and Charlotte Alive).
  • Convene 1,000 worshipping intercessors to contend for an open heaven, and the glory of God over the region.
  • Promote continual, effective, repentant prayers that proclaims righteousness and justice over the region.
  • Accelerate a prayer movement for the salvation of souls through the Holy Spirit.
  • Oversee the strategic establishment of a Citywide School of Prayer.

Prayer Tent (11:00AM - 2:00PM)
A Prayer Tent sponsored by Charlotte Awake is set up at the corner of Trade Street and Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte every 1st and 3rd Wednesday.  All are welcome.
