The Care Team’s goal is to profoundly reduce hunger in the Charlotte-Metrolina Region. This endeavor will be accomplished by bringing churches, ministries and businesses together. The current state of hunger in the region is at a crisis level.

• In the fiscal year 2007-2008, approximately 4.3 million pounds of food were distributed to 85,000 people in the Charlotte-Metrolina Region.
• Currently, over 82,000 pounds of food are needed each week to help the increasing demand of those in need.*
